Week 1 EOC: My voice

Hi my name is Jacqueline and in this blog I will talk about what I love to do which is taking pictures of things that catch my eye everywhere I go. I love taking pictures of landscape and nature because nature is really fascinating to me and amazing how there are places out there we haven't seen yet that are breathtaking. Ever since I was little I always would use my parent’s camera to take pictures of places we would travel to or just visit on the weekend’s. when I was in middle school there was a photo contest and me being the artsy girl I was I entered and the whole contest was who had the best picture taken in black & white and all the other kids were really book smart but I was street smart so I went out and took a lot of picture that caught my eye in black and white and eventually I found one amazing picture that I feel in love with and it was of my older sister her name is Laura laughing of a joke that was being told and I got to capture that moment. When I turned in that picture into the photo contest everyone thought she was beautiful and young and she looked so happy in the picture. When I took that picture I didn’t really think about it twice I just clicked on the shutter button and next thing you know it was the picture I picked for the contest and I won first place. I was so excited to tell my parents when I got home. When I got home I couldn’t even tell my parents because I was so excited I was out of breath from running from the car to the house.
