EOC Week 9: Social Media

Everyone now in the 21^st century uses social media either if it’s to keep touch with Family or friends or for their Business. Social media can be used in two ways in a good way or in a Bad way. I will explain those ways very shortly. Social Media is a very amazing thing if you use it the right way to your advantage. Social Media can also be a horrible thing in many ways of how people use it to their disadvantage. Using social media to your disadvantage is tragic because it’s a good instrument to get your small Business out or to have people see your latest fashion Designs, or just for friends to see you enjoy your summer. Many people use Social media for both of those things. My brother in Law just started a Restaurant in Orange County and he made an Instagram account and he uses it to take pictures of the amazing meals they make everyday and send them out. But before that he had a food truck and a lot of people followed him around on an app called Roaring Food Trucks and that’s how he got his clients. He then would tell people to follow him on Instagram and to write reviews on Yelp to help his clientele. And that’s how I need to start my business with an app that people could use to choose what type of box chocolates they would like to send out to their loved ones, and also a fast checkout and a tracking system that would be accurate to the dot. Because if you don’t give good customer service the customers won’t come back. And I also have to make a Instagram, twitter a Facebook account to get my business out there and have people enjoy my company of luxury chocolates. 

EOC Week 7: Marketing Pitch

For my marketing pitch I am going to start an online business where men & women can send their loved ones a box of chocolate’s. The point in this idea is because I know many men forget those special days’ such as their wedding anniversary or wife’s birthday, and it just puts stress on the relationship and the couple. So to make life easier for those lost men and those women who just want to send chocolates to their husbands at work I have come up with an idea where all you have to have is your Apple pay set up or Samsung Pay and just have the person’s address on your contact list and of course that special date under their name. You could set up to have a box of chocolates be sent out every month with a little message from our love experts to fit in with your relationship. If you would not like that idea of having to pay $20 dollars each month we will always remind you one week before that special day under your contacts so that special red box of chocolates could be on time at the steps of your loved one’s house. We have different styled boxes but all carry 20 different chocolates and the normal price for the package is $20 and that includes shipping & handling if you would like a bigger box or if you would like to add flowers or balloons then that would be extra but the average box would be $20 dollars for your loved one’s.

Week 6 EOC

The three things I have that haven been a gift are a pair of expensive boots, a DSLR camera, and a designer watch. These items are materialistic but all of these items were truly a really good gift because I had put it on my birthday list and my family members gave me those items that I wanted.




These boots seem very simple and look the same as to many other boots but when you try them on and your foot is in there its so warm and soft and comfy and I have been wanting them for a long time and my sister gave them to me for my birthday.

                       

This camera I have been wanting since it came out in the beginning of 2015 and my parents knew that I wanted it to start my photography career. It’s a DSLR camera T5i with a 18-55 kit lens.

Last item I have received is this Gold Michael Kors Watch it very light and easy to tell time. One day I looked at this watch at the store and my older sister saw that I was eyeballing it and the next day she went and bought it for me just as a gift.

Week 5: EOC

The three tweets that I chose that interested me were about photography in black & white. I’ve always had an interest in Black and White Photography because to me it gives the picture more feeling and the photos look classier with that filter.

The first tweet I chose was https://twitter.com/photosbyjackie1/status/761219301680570369 I wrote about how Black and white photography has been used for decades since the first camera was invented because back in the day they still didn’t know how to create color pictures so they starts off with Black & white  it enhances and amplifies the photo.

The next tweet that I picked was https://twitter.com/photosbyjackie1/status/761220120756752384 and in this tweet I talk about how a trend today black & white photography is now being used more and more to exhibit modern lifestyle.  To me black and white photography stands out then your normal color one because its something different and unique. Black and white has been in style for over decades since the camera was invented and now photographers use that style to give their picture a different vibe and to stand out. I follow some photographers that all they do is black and white and its amazing.

Last but not least the last tweet I will talk about is https://twitter.com/photosbyjackie1/status/761217992751517696. Black and white is definitely timeless. In terms of its place in design. What I mean by this is that black and white is so easy its all done by a click of a button on your home computer and it gives the picture a different style. Its timeless but the structure of the picture pops put more when its just in black and white. It gives the picture a different feeling and vibe and a whole different character.
